Needs putting up on the site Under Heading:

"NO MARKET PRICE FOR EINSTEINS"

Hello Quick Buck Merchant

Classic computers are not like classic cars. So keep them up in your loft for another twenty years.

How much can you sell your Einstein for and how and where best to sell it?
The news is not good I am afraid.
 In the "Einstein Magazine" ( it has it's own web site "." for contact) there always seems to be an ad from someone wanting a good home for an Einstein , Free for any one prepared to collect it.
In the latest mag there is someone offering to deliver within a twenty mile radius. The problem usually always being the two parties being wide apart. Parcel delivery seems to cost around £18 - thats if the seller is prepared to do the packaging.
For finding someone locally to buy at the delivery cost or less an ad in your local paper seems best.
A letter to EM address;
( see the 'join' page )
quoting your offer might bring a response from someone local to you.

Other old computer owners would be the most likely buyers.

The rugged Teac 3" drives can be fitted to Amstrad CPC & Spectrum+3 (WITH CARE AS POWER SUPPLY IS DIFFERENT). The flimsy Amstrad 3" drives must have all worn out by now.

Bye
